Roles & permissions
Members are login accounts with roles; employees are registry records. Members are always free.
Two kinds of people exist in OHS. Members are login accounts with a role — the people who run the workspace. Employees are registry records — they act through the portal and never need accounts. Members are free at every tier; plans are sized only by active employees.
The roles
- Owner — everything, plus billing. The only role that can change the plan.
- Admin — full company access: register, records, settings, team.
- OHS lead — the working-environment specialist's role: all OHS modules and records. Also the role external OHS consultants use.
- Manager — location-scoped: sees and manages only the sites in their scope.
- Read-only — sees everything, changes nothing. Built for auditors and inspectors; invites can carry an expiry date.
An external OHS consultancy can be a member of many companies with the same login — one OHS lead across their whole client list.
